Stall-holder terms and conditions

  1. Insurance Requirements
    • Commercial (non-student) stall holders must have valid public liability insurance covering the duration of the fair where their annual revenue exceeds £1000. Stall holders are required to confirm they have such insurance when completing their application but are not required to submit documentation unless specifically requested by the Committee.
  2. Donation Requirements
    • As part of the fair’s community support goals, each stall operated by a business agrees to make a minimum donation of £20, and each stall operated by students will be provided free of charge.
  3. Set-Up and Operations
    • Stall holders are responsible for setting up their stalls in the designated areas and must complete setup operations by the specified start time of the fair.
    • Stalls must be attended at all times during the fair’s operating hours to ensure proper operation and safety.
  4. Student Stall Supervision
    • Student stalls must be actively supported and supervised by a responsible adult at all times to ensure proper conduct and safety.
  5. Products and Services
    • All goods and services offered at the fair must be appropriate for a family-friendly environment, and stall holders should avoid including any prohibited items as specified by the Committee.
    • Pricing of goods and services should be clearly displayed and adhere to fair trading practices.
  6. Environmental Responsibilities
    • Stall holders are expected to manage waste effectively and maintain the cleanliness of their area, during and after the fair.
  7. Cancellation and Termination
    • The PTA reserves the right to cancel any stall holder’s participation at any time due to non-compliance with fair rules, safety concerns, or any other reason deemed significant by the Committee.
  8. Indemnity and Liability
    • Stall holders agree to indemnify and hold harmless the PTA and its agents against any claims, damages, or losses arising from their participation in the fair.
    • The PTA will not be liable for any loss or damage to the stall holders’ property.
  9. Dispute Resolution
    • Any disputes regarding the application of these terms will be resolved at the discretion of the Fair Organizing Committee, whose decisions shall be considered final and binding.
  10. Acknowledgment of Terms
    • By participating in the fair, stall holders agree to these terms. The completion and submission of the application form will be considered as acceptance of these conditions.
